Community Attractions
Caswell Hill is an appealing community with many local attractions. There is a public elementary school, a public high school, and a post-secondary school (Caswell Community School, Bedford Road Collegiate, and SIAST Kelsey, respectively) in or just across the street from neighbourhood boundaries. The Mayfair Branch of the Saskatoon Public Library is just across 33rd Street as well.
Our oval-shaped neighbourhood park, Ashworth Holmes, is used year round by residents who enjoy the playground, walking, running, playing soccer and other sports, lawn bowling, and cross country skiing. In the summer the City of Saskatoon operates the playground program and paddling pool in the park.
For recreation and leisure the neighbourhood also features both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Mayfair Pool recently turned 50 and is undergoing process for pool redevelopment. Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre features a 50 metre, 8 lane pool with diving boards and a 25 metre leisure pool, as well as hot tubs, sauna, fitness/weight room, and meeting room.
Note that the grey boxes at right provide links to neighbourhood civics information and resources in the community.
